On March 14, 2018, a Grievance Panel chaired by Judge Jonathan M. Apgar (Ret.) issued a unanimous ruling reinstating Detective Craig Frye to his former position with the Town of Vinton, as well as awarding him back pay and benefits. The panel found that Detective Frye met his burden of proving that the Town’s ruling of termination was not supported by the evidence.
FMWM’s Dale Webb represented Detective Frye before the Grievance Panel. Dale was assisted by FMWM paralegal Tammie Balmer. Following the Panel’s ruling, Detective Frye said the following:
